Christine has a Certificate in Dispute Resolutions &
Mediation, as well as a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from
Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She earned a BET in
computer technology at the University of South Florida in 1985, and has
fifteen years business and management expertise as a Senior Computer
Programmer and Analyst. Christine currently serves as Director of
The Sleep and Mood Resource Clinic of Texas, working in conjunction with
The Sleep and Mood Resource Clinic of Portland, Oregon. These clinics
treat clients with insomnia, and also educate medical and mental health
professionals about sleep and insomnia disorders. As an instructor at Collin County Community
College, Christine empowers adults with skills in Conflict Resolution,
Negotiation, Communication, and Workplace Relationships. She worked at a
mental health facility leading Anger Management, Conflict Resolution,
Goal Setting, and Stress Management groups while providing Counseling
and Psychosocial Rehabilitation. Her school practicum provided
experience working with groups of Minors in Possession and Tobacco
Awareness while counseling families of adolescents with behavioral
problems. Christine has experience counseling abuse victims, adults, and
children of all ages. She specializes in group training and one on one
coaching for Conflict Resolution, Stress and Anger Management,
Negotiation Skills, Workplace Disputes, Positive Parenting, and
Communication Skills. Her approach is eclectic, using solution oriented,
humanistic, client centered, cognitive and behavior techniques,
depending on the needs of her clients. She has been married for fourteen
years, has two dogs, and a pond full of Koi. Christine has great
compassion for her clients and enjoys empowering individuals to
determine their own success in their personal life, their career, and
within their family. |
