Lourdes Anduiza is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living and practicing in New York. She received her Masters of Social Work from Florida International University in 1999, and was licensed as an "LCSW" clinical social worker in 2003. While completing her master’s degree, Lourdes worked in Florida, as a milieu therapist on a children’s psychiatric unit and intake coordinator for a local children’s hospital. After graduating, Lourdes worked for several different mental health agencies in Florida and New York including Children’s Psychiatric Center, Guardian Ad Litem, Unitas St. Mark’s Place, and WORC. Lourdes provides individual therapy, play therapy with children, couples therapy, and family and group therapy. Lourdes specializes in work with children and adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities, as well as children with behavior challenges. She is an expert in the use of structured teaching and psychotherapy with children and adults with Autism, as well as training staff in child development and best practices in the field. Lourdes has presented at conferences throughout New York State on the use of visual supports in order to help children and adults with Autism. She has also consulted with different agencies and worked closely with parents in the home and school. Lourdes currently operates her own private practice.
